5.   Citizens Forum:  Citizens wishing to speak during this time should submit a speaker request form to the City Secretary before the meeting begins. Public comments may also be submitted online at: cedarhilltx.com/publiccomment. All comments received by 4pm on City Council meeting dates will be distributed to the City Council and entered into record.      
 
6.   Public Hearing:
 
a.   Case No. PD-274-2020 – Conduct a public hearing and consider an application for a change in zoning from “LR” (Local Retail District) to “PD” (Planned Development District) for single-family attached and detached dwelling units on approximately 15.62 acres generally located on the west side of North Joe Wilson Road and north of East Belt Line Road.

h.   Case No. FP-293-2020 – Approve, in accordance with the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation, an application for a final plat for the McFarlane Addition, Lot 1, Block A, with a variance to Section 20-22(b), Chapter 20 – Subdivision Regulations on property zoned “RR” District (Rural Residential District) located on the south end of Juniper Lane with the approximate address being in the 116 Juniper Lane.

b.   Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Agreement with Cedar Hill Independent School District to provide $180,000 of Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds to support distance learning. Click to View
 
11.   Closed Session:
 
a.   Closed Session called pursuant to Sections 551.072 and 551.087 of the Texas Government Code for Deliberation regarding real property and Deliberation regarding economic development negotiations.

Section 551.072:  Deliberation regarding real property.  A governmental body may conduct a closed meeting to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person.

Section 551.087:  Deliberation regarding economic development negotiations. (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or  (2) to deliberate the offer of financial or other incentives to a business prospect described by Subdivision.
