5.   Citizens Forum/Public Comments.  Citizens wishing to speak during this time should submit a Speaker Request Form to the City Secretary before the meeting begins.  Public comments may also be submitted online at: cedarhilltx.com/publiccomment.  All public comments submitted online by 3pm on City Council meeting dates will be distributed to the City Council and entered into record.

a.   Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute a joint election agreement and service contract with Ellis County Elections Department to administer and conduct the City of Cedar Hill General Election on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Click to View

Discussion and consideration of all matters incident and related to the issuance and sale of City of Cedar Hill, Texas, General Obligation Bonds, Series 2023, including the adoption of Ordinance No. 2023-779 authorizing the issuance of such bonds.

i.   Case No. FP-533-2023 – Approve, in accordance with the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation, an application for a final plat for the Brook View Addition, Lot 1, Block 3 and a variance to Section 20-22(b), Chapter 20 – Subdivision Regulations on property zoned “SF-E” (Single-Family Residential Estate with minimum 1-acre lots) District located on the north side of High Drive, east of Tar Road with the approximate address being 320 Simmons Way.

Deliberation regarding the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property in which deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations with a third person.
