WE'VE ALSO A GOOD NUMBER OF ADULTS AND DISABILITY WITH DIS DISABILITIES WITHIN CEDAR HILL AND THE SURROUNDING CITIES. AND CURRENTLY, THERE ARE NO CITIES WITHIN THE BEST SOUTHWEST AREA THAT HAVE ADAPTIVE PROGRAM WITHIN THEIR CITY SERVICES. SO GRAND PRAIRIE IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY CITY IN OUR VICINITY THAT HAVE ADAPTED RECREATION, THERAPEUTIC RECREATION, OR ADAPTED PROGRAMMING THAT I'M AWARE OF. UM, Y'ALL WORKED WITH US ON A TREE MITIGATION ISSUE THAT WE HAD WITH THE SITE. UM, CITY STAFF'S BEEN VERY ACCOMMODATING. THEY'VE VERY FLEXIBLE WITH US ALL ALONG THE WAY. WE, WE HAVE HAD SOME ISSUES ON THE SITE WITH SOME FRANCHISE UTILITIES AND PUBLIC UTILITIES, AND THE CITY'S BEEN THERE EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TO WORK WITH US. UH, SO WE WERE A LITTLE CAUGHT OFF GUARD YESTERDAY WHEN WE RECEIVED THE, UM, EMAIL KIND OF ALMOST BY ACCIDENT. WE LEARNED ABOUT THIS, UH, THAT WAS HAPPENING TONIGHT.
