AS PRESIDENT OF THAT ASSOCIATION.

I WAS EVEN PROUDER TO BE PART OF A VERY DECIDEDLY BEST SOUTHWEST VIBE THAT WAS TAKING PLACE IN ADDISON AND APPRECIATED HIS LEADERSHIP.

AND HE'S ALREADY DRAWING FOLKS TO THE ORGANIZATION THAT CASTS A GREAT LIGHT ON THIS AREA AND WHY THIS IS AN AREA FOR FOLKS TO BE EXCITED ABOUT AND TO PAY ATTENTION TO.

SO I THANK YOU MAYOR.

UM, ALSO, UH, JUST A NOTE OF GRATITUDE AND CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PARTNERS AT MISSION CEDAR HILL.

THEY'VE COMPLETED THEIR SUMMER BIG WEEK EVENT WHERE THEY SPEND, UH, FOUR DAYS THIS TIME ACTUALLY VERY HOT TEMPERATURES GOING AROUND, UH, DOING SERVICE PROJECTS FOR, UH, FOLKS WHO ARE IN NEED.

I KNOW THEY HAD AROUND A DOZEN PROJECTS AND THEN A LOT OF PARTICIPATION, A LOT ON THE CITY EMPLOYEE SIDE AS WELL, WHICH I'M GRATEFUL FOR.

UH, THEY WILL COME IN A FEW WEEKS TO, UH, TO, UH, SUMMARIZE THEIR EVENTS FOR YOU SO THAT YOU CAN APPRECIATE THEM IN PERSON, BUT HAVING SEEN THEM.

AND THEY'RE A WRAP-UP EVENT ON SUNDAY AND ALL OF THE THINGS THAT THEY'D TAKEN DURING THE WEEK, I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME AND STEWARDSHIP THAT THEY SPEND TAKING CARE OF OUR FOLKS AND ALSO TO, UH, STAY SCRAPES AND THE CODE TEAM FOR BOTH CIRCUITING THEM AND PARTICIPATION AS WELL AS FOLKS WITHIN OUR POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS WHO ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THAT EVENT.

ALSO VERY HAPPY TO REPORT GREAT TURNOUTS AT OUR MAJOR SUMMER KICKOFF EVENTS.

UH, WE HAD, UH, THE KID FISH WEEKEND BEFORE LAST IN THE LIBRARY KICKOFF, BOTH VERY, VERY WELL ATTENDED.

UM, THIS LAST WEEK WE HAD THE BIG MACHINE EXPO AND OUR FIRST CONCERT IN THE PARK THAT WASN'T RAINED OUT.

AND SO, UH, THE ATTENDANCE THERE WAS ACTUALLY GREAT.

UH, REMINDS ME HOW MUCH I LOVE VALLEY RIDGE.

AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE THAT AMPHITHEATER ON A NICE EVENING WHERE THERE'S A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE.

IT'S, IT'S A, IT'S A, IT'S A GREAT SETTING.

MY CHIEF OUT THERE, A PINNING CEREMONY FOR ALL OF THE INCOMING FIREFIGHTERS AND NEWLY PROMOTED FIREFIGHTERS AND FOLKS IN THE CORE NOW, UM, THAT HAVE EITHER COME TO US OR HAVE BEEN PROMOTED, UH, WITH OUR FAMILY, UH, OVER THE COURSE, UH, SINCE COVID, UH, YOU KNOW, AS YOU KNOW, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WE TRADITIONALLY DO AT, UH, COUNCIL MEETINGS AND STUFF, AND WE WERE IN COVID PROTOCOLS AND WE'VE HAD QUITE A NUMBER OF FOLKS WHO'VE COME TO THE CITY AND OF STEWARDESS AND TAKE GREAT CARE OF US OVER THE LAST, UH, UH, TWO YEARS THAT WE'VE REALLY NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO PROPERLY APPRECIATE IN, UH, IN WELCOME AND SWEAR IN.

SO THIS IS THE PREPARATION FOR THOSE TWO BIG EVENTS ON A WEDNESDAY, JUNE THE 29TH.

SO YOU HAVE A COUNCIL MEETING ON THE 28TH AND THEN ON WEDNESDAY, THE 29TH, UH, WE DO HAVE A SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOR THE CITY COUNCIL TO, UM, CONSIDER BOARD AND COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS FOR THE NEXT YEAR.

I THINK WE HAVE THURSDAY CORDONED OFF JUST IN CASE WE NEED IT, BUT WE THINK WE CAN PROBABLY GET IT ALL DONE IN ONE DAY, GIVEN THE VOLUME OF THAT VACANT SEASON, THE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS THAT WE HAVE.

SO IT WILL BE A BUSY WEEK ON THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE.

UM, MONDAY, JULY THE FOURTH CITY OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF THE, OF INDEPENDENT STAY.

UM, AND THEN JULY 7TH, RIGHT AFTER, UH, THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY, WE WILL BE MEETING FOR THE NEXT STAGE OF THE BUDGET DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.

ITEM ON THE BRIEFING AGENDA, WE'LL BE RECEIVING UPDATE ON OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP, AND SINGLE-FAMILY RIGID RENTAL REGISTRATION PROGRAMS, EVEN MS. GRAVES.

AGAIN, WE START ALL OF OUR PROGRAMMING AND OUR POLICIES IN THE DEPARTMENT WITH A VISION, MISSION AND VALUES OF THE CITY AND THESE PARTICULAR PROGRAMS THAT I'M GOING TO PRESENT TONIGHT ON OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP AND THE SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL.

WE ARE PURSUING PREMIERE AND CLEAN, SAFE, AND AN ENGAGED COMMUNITY.

SO AGAIN, MY AGENDA TONIGHT HERE IS OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP UPDATE, AND SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL.

I WANTED TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE HISTORY ON THE OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP

PROGRAM AND THE NEIGHBORHOODS THAT WE'VE DONE OVER THE LAST 12 YEARS.

THIS PROGRAM STARTED IN 2010 WITH ACTUALLY HIGHLAND SOUTH BEING OUR VERY FIRST OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP NEIGHBORHOOD.

WE DID THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD AT A LITTLE OVER 1100 HOMES.

UM, AND AT THAT TIME, UH, WE NOTICED, UH, 516 PROPERTIES WITH VIOLATIONS AT A PERCENTAGE OF PROPERTIES WITH VIOLATIONS AT 45%.

SO YOU'LL SEE THERE A NUMBER OF NEIGHBORHOODS THAT WE HAVE DONE, UM, SOUTH CLARK ROAD CORRIDOR IN 2012, SOUTH HILLS MEADOWBROOK STONE WOOD HEIGHTS.

WE DID THE DOWNTOWN AREA IN 2015, THE SHADY BROOK WILDFLOWER NEIGHBORHOODS IN 2016.

WE DID CEDAR CREST IN 2017.

THIS WAS ABOUT WHEN THEY WERE ORGANIZING TO BECOME A PID.

UM, SO WE DID THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD THAT YEAR IN 2018 WINDSOR PARK.

THIS IS ALSO IN, IN COORDINATION WITH THEM CREATING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT THERE.

AND THEN WE DID 2019.

WE DID HIGHLAND SOUTH, UM, AGAIN, BUT ON THE EAST SIDE OF THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD, A SMALLER CONCENTRATED AREA SPRINGFIELD.

AND THEN, UH, THIS YEAR WITH HIGHLAND, SOUTH OF PORTION OF THE WEST SIDE OF IT.

SO, UM, A DIFFERENCE IN WHERE WE STARTED AND WHERE WE ARE NOW IN 2010, WHEN WE DID OUR FIRST OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP NEIGHBORHOOD, UM, ALL WE WERE LOOKING FOR WERE FIVE THINGS, JUNK VEHICLES, FENCE TRASH, AND DEBRIS, HIGH GRASS, AND OUTSIDE STORAGE.

UM, ESPECIALLY THE OLDER NEIGHBORHOODS WITH THE AGING HOUSING.

WE, UH, STARTED LOOKING AT ROOFS, UH, ROTTED WOOD ON THE EXTERIOR EXTERIOR PAINT, BROKEN WINDOWS SIDING, UH, GARAGE DOOR REPAIRS.

WE ALSO STARTED ADDRESSING ADDRESS NUMBERS THAT NEED TO BE PLACED ON THE FRONT AND THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY, IF IT'S AN ALLEY ENTRANCE.

AND THEN OF COURSE THIS YEAR, WE ADDED A SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL REGISTRATION AS AN, AN ITEM WE WERE LOOKING FOR AS WELL.

SO THIS YEAR, UM, IF YOU REMEMBER BACK IN DECEMBER OR JANUARY HIGHLANDS, AS SOUTH NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS CAME TO CITY COUNCIL AND ALSO STAFF, UM, CON WITH CONCERNS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD, ONE OF WHICH WAS SOME CODE CONCERNS AND AGING HOMES IN A SPECIFIED AREA.

UM, SO AT THAT TIME, WE, UM, MET WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS THAT WENT, OF COURSE, KEEPING ALL THESE CITY COUNCIL PRIORITIES IN LINE WITH PEOPLE IN RELATIONSHIPS CONNECTING WITH.

SO WE DID THAT BY CONNECTING WITH RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, WE ENGAGED WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS AND THE RESIDENTS.

THEY EVEN HELP US WITH THIS PROGRAM.

AND THEN THE LAST NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION WITH AESTHETICS AND NEIGHBORHOOD PRIDE.

SO OUR PLAN WHEN WE MET WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS WAS TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WOULD DO THE INITIAL INSPECTION.

THIS TOOK UP TO TWO WEEKS.

THEY WENT OUT AS TEAMS TO DO THE INSPECTION.

WE MET WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS AND THEY WERE GOING TO WAIT TILL WE WERE DONE WITH OUR FINAL INSPECTION.

AND THEN THEY CAME INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD BEHIND US AND THEY WENT DOOR TO DOOR, TALKING WITH RESIDENTS AND OFFERING THEIR HELP IF THEY NEEDED HELP TO COME INTO COMPLIANCE AND ALSO PROVIDING THEM INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND CODE ENFORCEMENT ISSUES.

SO THIS IS THE AREA THAT, UH, CODE ENFORCEMENT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS WORKED IS, UM, IN THE WEST SIDE OF SOUTH HIGHLANDS, THEY INSPECTED 384 PROPERTIES OUT OF THOSE PROPERTIES.

THEY NOTED 265 PROPERTIES WITH AT LEAST ONE VIOLATION.

AND THEN, UM, CURRENTLY WE HAVE 28 CASES STILL OPEN.

SO THIS IS A SUMMARY OF THE VIOLATIONS THAT WERE DISCOVERED.

UM, EXTERIOR STRUCTURE COULD BE A VARIETY OF THINGS WITH PAINT, ROTTED WOOD, UM, SUBSTANDARD STRUCTURE.

IT COULD BE A SHED THAT'S FALLING DOWN IN THE REAR YARD.

THEY NOTED 102 VIOLATIONS.

WE STILL HAVE 18 OF THOSE STILL OPEN.

THAT'S USUALLY THE ONES THAT ARE OPEN THE LONGEST THAT TAKES MONEY AND TIME FOR RESIDENTS TO COME INTO COMPLIANCE.

AND USUALLY WE'RE ALSO TRYING TO WORK WITH THEM TO FIND MEANS TO GET THEM IN COMPLIANCE.

SURPRISINGLY, UM, SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL, WE FOUND 83 VIOLATIONS.

THERE WERE 83 HOMES IN THIS AREA THAT WERE NOT REGISTERED AS SINGLE FAMILY RENTALS.

AND WE STILL HAVE FIVE OF THOSE STILL OPEN.

AND I BELIEVE THIS IS THE SAME PROPERTY OWNER THAT HAS RECEIVED A CITATION AT THIS POINT.

UM, WE HAVE FOUND 70 FENCE VIOLATIONS, TRASH AND DEBRIS ADDRESS NUMBERS OUTSIDE STORAGE, AND THE LIST KIND OF GOES DOWN FROM THERE, BUT OVERALL

WE FOUND 499 VIOLATIONS.

SO SOME OF THOSE HOMES COULD HAVE MORE THAN ONE VIOLATION THAT CAN HAVE TWO OR THREE.

UM, BUT CURRENTLY WE HA WE ARE AT 8% OF WHAT'S STILL OPEN RIGHT NOW.

AND AGAIN, SO, UH, WE TEAMED UP WITH A MISSION.

CEDAR HILL ACTUALLY TEAMED UP WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS AND THIS IS THEM DOING A WORK DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

UM, WE CALLED THIS NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS, AND I BELIEVE THEY ARE ACTUALLY HERE TONIGHT, UH, AND SUPPORT.

SO I REALLY APPRECIATE, UM, HIGHLAND, SOUTH LEADERS COMING OUT.

AND THEN IN ADDITION, CODE ENFORCEMENT AND MISSION CEDAR HILL, UM, LAST WEEK TEAMED UP WITH A HOME, TEAMED UP AND ALSO TOOK, UH, DOWN A FENCE AT A HOME IN THIS AREA AS WELL.

AND OCTOBER OF 2017 CODE ENFORCEMENT, UH, DID AN UPDATE TO CITY COUNCIL TO INCLUDE FUTURE GOALS OF THE SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL PROGRAM OF A POSSIBLE PROGRAM, ACTUALLY IN 2017 IN JUNE OF 2018, THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT DID AN UPDATE TO CITY COUNCIL, INCLUDING THE NAB WORK, MENTIONING A POTENTIAL PROGRAM.

AND, UM, SEPTEMBER OF 2019 CODE ENFORCEMENT, AGAIN, DID AN UPDATE TO CITY COUNCIL, INCLUDING NEIGHBORHOOD INTEGRITY, UH, WHICH INCLUDED THE SINGLE-FAMILY RENTAL REGISTRATION PROGRAM IN OCTOBER OF 2019.

UM, THIS PROGRAM WAS APPROVED IN THE BUDGET OF FY 1920 IN MAY OF 2020, UH, CODE ENFORCEMENT DID A BRIEFING, THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEWING A PROPOSED SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL PROGRAM AT THAT TIME CITY COUNCIL DID REQUEST THAT, UH, STAFF GO BACK AND GET PUBLIC INPUT OF, UH, STAKEHOLDERS.

SO ALSO IN MAY OF 2020, UH, WE DID AN UPDATE TO CITY COUNCIL ON PROPOSED COMMITTEE.

AND THEN DURING AUGUST, UH, THE MONTH OF AUGUST IN 2020, WE HAD A STAKEHOLDER COMMITTEE WORKSHOPS TO DISCUSS A POTENTIAL PROGRAM DOING THAT THE CEDAR HILL WAY TO INCLUDE PUBLIC INPUT.

AND THAT COMMITTEE CONSISTED OF LANDLORDS TENANTS MANAGEMENT COMPANIES.

UH, THERE WERE HOMEOWNERS, THERE WERE NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERS THERE AND ALSO THE NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY BOARD.

AND THEN IN OCTOBER OF 2020, UH, STAFF PROVIDED A BRIEFING ON A OF SINGLE FAMILY RENTAL ORDINANCE.

AND THEN IN NOVEMBER OF 2020, THAT ORDINANCE WAS ADOPTED AND EFFECTIVE IN JANUARY 1ST, 2021 AND MEETING WITH THE, UM, STAKEHOLDER COMMITTEE AND STAFF, THEY CAME UP WITH GOALS TOGETHER AND THOSE GOALS WERE COSTS AND NEEDED TO BE A COST NEUTRAL PROGRAM STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS NEEDED TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THOSE OF OWNER OCCUPIED HOMES TOO.

SO WE DIDN'T HAVE A DIFFERENT STANDARDS FOR TENANT OCCUPIED HOMES AND OWNER OCCUPIED HOMES, UH, NEEDED TO BE STREAMLINED AND EFFICIENT AND NOT BURDEN LANDLORDS ADMINISTRATIVELY.

AND WE NEEDED TO OBTAIN ACCURATE DATA ON OWNERS AND TENANTS.

SO A REMINDER OF HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS, THERE IS AN ANNUAL REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

UM, SO PROPERTY OWNERS WHO LEASE THEIR PROPERTIES, IF IT'S A DUPLEX TOWNHOME OR A SINGLE FAMILY HOME MUST REGISTER THE PROPERTY ANNUALLY.

AND THIS PROCESS IS AVAILABLE ONLINE AND THE APPLICATION INCLUDES, UH, INFORMATION SUCH AS OWNER INFORMATION OR THEIR CORPORATION INFORMATION.

AND MOST MORE IMPORTANTLY IS A PROPERTY MANAGER INFORMATION.

UH, THE CODE OFFICERS DEAL MORE WITH PROPERTY MANAGERS THAN THEY REALLY DO WITH THE OWNERS OR CORPORATION INFORMATION CORPORATION.

AND THEN OF COURSE SUBMIT THEIR FEE.

SO A PROPERTY IS REGISTERED ANNUALLY.

AND USUALLY THIS IS ONE OR TWO PROPERTY OWNERS THAT HAVE MULTIPLE PROPERTIES THAT ARE NOT REGISTERING THEIR PROPERTIES.

AND ULTIMATELY WE'LL PUT A HOLD ON IT ONCE THE TENANT MOVES OUT AND THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO START WATER SERVICE FOR THEIR NEXT TENANT.

SO FAR, WE HAVE NOT TURNED OFF ATTENDANCE, WATER DUE TO NOT REGISTERING.

SO, SO WE'VE ONLY HAD REALLY 10 OF ALL OF THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN PRETTY GOOD.

SHE, UM, GETS THOSE OUT USUALLY THE SAME DAY AND, UH, FOR US TO BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ACCURATE DATA ON OWNERS AND TENANTS.

AND WE ARE ABLE TO GET THAT ON THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

I WANT TO SAY, I'M REALLY, THIS HAS BEEN A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CODE ENFORCEMENT AND OUR UTILITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT.

UM, THEY HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH.

THEY ACTUALLY REALLY LOVED THE PROGRAM.

THEY FEEL IT'S ANOTHER LEVEL.

ANOTHER VERIFICATION LEVEL TO ENSURE LEASES ARE AUTHENTIC.

UH, THERE WERE TIMES THAT THEY WOULD GET, UM, TENANTS THAT PROBABLY WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE LIVING THERE AND THEY CREATE A FAKE LEASE AND HAVE THAT SUBMITTED AND GET THE WATER TURNED ON.

SO THIS GIVES ANOTHER LEVEL OF, UM, VERIFICATION.

UM, CODE ENFORCEMENT HAS DEVELOPED RELATIONSHIPS WITH PROPERTY OWNERS, LANDLORDS MANAGEMENT, COMPANIES, AND TENANTS.

AND WE ALSO BELIEVE THERE'S A QUICKER RESPONSE TIME FOR TENANT MOVE-OUTS OR SET OUT ISSUES.

UM, I WANNA TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT, UH, THE UNAUTHORIZED TENANTS WE'VE SEEN, UM, SEVERAL TIMES WHERE ONE PARTICULAR, UM, SOMEBODY CALLED IN CLAIMED THEY WERE A LANDLORD THAT WE'RE VERY WELL AWARE OF.

AND WE KNOW THEM.

THEY SAID THAT HE WAS THEM AND THAT HE NEEDED TO GET AN RCO SO HE COULD GET THE WATER TURNED ON.

SO ONCE WE STARTED TALKING WITH THEM MORE, IT WAS A TENANT THAT REALLY WASN'T ALLOWED TO BE THERE.

THE REAL TENANT HAD MOVED OUT AND THIS ROOMMATE HAD STAYED, BUT THEY SHUT THE WATER OFF BECAUSE THE TENANT HAD MOVED OUT, BUT THE ROOMMATE WANTED TO STAY.

UM, BUT THE LANDLORD DIDN'T WANT THEM TO STAY.

SO WE WERE ABLE TO GET THAT WORKED OUT.

UM, BUT HAD THIS NOT BEEN IN PLACE, THEY COULD HAVE JUST EASILY GONE TO THE WATER DEPARTMENT, HAD THEIR WATER TURNED ON, AND THEN, UH, THE TENANT OR THE LANDLORD PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN IN AN EVICTION TYPE SITUATION.

UM, AND THEN THERE WE'VE HAD, UM, SOME SQUATTERS ALSO THAT HAVE BEEN, UH, TRYING TO MOVE INTO SOME HOMES.

AND THEN, UH, THERE WAS ANOTHER TIME WE HAD A TENANT THAT CALLED US CAUSE THEIR HEAT.

THIS WAS SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, THEIR HEATER WAS NOT WORKING.

THEY HAD A BABY AND IT HADN'T WORKED FOR THREE DAYS AND THEY COULDN'T GET A HOLD OF THE LANDLORD TO FIX IT.

WE WERE VERY WELL WHO THE LANDLORD WAS.

THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT NUMBER.

SO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER MADE A PHONE CALL TO THE PROPERTY MANAGER.

THEY WERE ABLE TO GET IT FIXED THAT DAY.

SO WE'VE REALLY BEEN ABLE TO HELP TENANTS AND LANDLORDS AND PROPERTY OWNERS ALL THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.

AND I THINK IT'S BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL.

AND AT THAT POINT I WILL TAKE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS.

I KNOW ONE OF THE STATED OBJECTIVES WAS THAT WE BE ABLE TO ADMINISTER THIS PROGRAM IS ZERO COSTS.

HAVE WE IN EFFECT BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT? ARE THE, ARE THE REVENUES GENERATED BY THE REGISTRATION PROGRAM COVERING THE COST OF ADMINISTERING IT VERY CLOSE? I THINK WE'RE RIGHT AT 70%, 70% GETTING THERE.

AND I KNOW THERE WAS A LOT, THERE WAS SOME HESITANCE ON THE PART OF SOME OF THE LANDLORDS AS WELL.

THAT WAS THE FIRST I'D HEARD ABOUT BEING ABLE TO, TO STOP, UM, YOU KNOW, FRAUDULENT, YOU KNOW, OCCUPANCY OF, OF PROPERTIES.

AND THAT'S REAL.

THAT IS A REAL CONCERN OF LANDLORDS.

WHEN, WHEN YOU HAVE AN OCCUPIED PROPERTIES, IS SOMEBODY GAINING ACCESS AND LEASING IT UP.

SO THAT'S A GREAT ADDED BENEFIT.

I, I HEARD, HEARD THAT BEFORE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INTERCEPT SOME OF THOSE.

SO VERY GLAD TO HEAR THAT.

UM, SO WHEN YOU'RE GOING NOW, YOU'RE STARTING TO SEE A LOT OF ICE.

AND SO I'M CURIOUS, BASED ON THE VOLUME OF WHAT WE DO TO THE WORD OUT TON OF STUFF, BUT EVEN NOW WE'RE STILL EATING THAT ARE NOT.

SO WHEN THEY REGISTER OR WHEN THEY APPLY FOR THEIR RCO, THEY'RE AWARE THAT WE'RE GOING TO DO AN INSPECTION NOW.

SO MAYBE THEY WEREN'T AWARE OF IT.

UM, SOMETIMES WHAT HAPPENS IS THE TENANT IS MOVING IN AND THEY HAVE ITEMS AT THE CURB THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP.

WE DO WRITE THAT AS A VIOLATION.

WE TYPICALLY, AT THAT POINT, DON'T NOTIFY THE PROPERTY OWNER OR THE LANDLORD CAUSE IT'S REALLY A TENANT ISSUE.

SO WE'LL LET THE TENANT KNOW THAT, YOU KNOW, THIS IS, YOU KNOW, NOT ALLOWED.

THIS IS WHEN YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR, YOUR BULK OUT.

UM, YEAH, WE DID SEVERAL, UH, NOTIFICATIONS.

UM, BUT OVERALL BASED ON THE 2100 THAT WE'VE HAD, AND WE STARTED JANUARY 21 AND WE'RE A YEAR AND A HALF INTO IT, WHAT, WHAT ARE WE PERCENTAGE-WISE OF EXPECTATION OF, OF, OF THE REGISTRATION IN OTHER WORDS, HOW MUCH FARTHER DO WE HAVE TO GO? I MEAN, WE ARE GUESSING 3,500, SO MAYBE ANOTHER THOUSAND, BUT IT'S LIKE, IT'S REALLY, I JUST KIND OF CARRIED SOME OVERDUE TO PIGGYBACK ON, ON THE MIRACLE CAM.

SO I KNOW YOU'RE DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN.

AND TO ME IT'S AMAZING THAT SHE'D BEEN THAT FAR ALONG FOR THAT PERIOD OF TIME.

SO TO ME, I THINK, YOU KNOW, A YEAR AND A HALF, WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED NOW IS REALLY GOOD.

WITH THE, WITH THE USE OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHEN THEY'RE WORKING IN THE FIELD AND THEY'RE ALSO CHECKING AND THEN WITH THE WATER DEPARTMENT, WE'RE REALLY TRYING TO CATCH, CATCH THOSE UP.

BUT IF THERE'S BEEN A, A TENANT THAT'S LIVED IN THE HOUSE FOR YEARS, YOU KNOW, WE, AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY CODE VIOLATIONS, WE, WE MAY NOT CATCH IT FOR AWHILE CAUSE GLOVER.

SO, UH, THERE'S STILL INVESTMENT COMPANIES OUT THERE BUYING UP PROPERTIES.
