WE DO HAVE A FULL QUORUM, UH, CITY COUNCIL PRESENT AND, UH, ALL NOTICES HAVE BEEN PROPERTY POSTED.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COUNCIL CHAMBERS, UH, OPEN CARRY IS NOT PERMITTED WITHIN, WITHIN THE SITE COUNCIL CHAMBERS.

AND WITH THAT, I'LL OFFICIALLY GO AHEAD AND CALL THIS MEETING TO ORDER.

UH, WE WILL HAVE A INVOCATION BY MS. JOAN WILSON AND FOLLOW THAT WITH THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE BY OUR VERY OWN COUNCIL WOMAN, SHIRLEY DANIELS.

SEEING JOEL AS BEING INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY, RELIGIOUS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN OUR CITY, SHE REALLY ENTERS THE FOR ME AND THEY, THE SPIRIT OF THE CITY.

YOU'VE ALSO TOLD US THAT IF WE NEED WISDOM TO JUST COME AND YOU WILL GIVE IT TO US.

AND WITH THAT WISDOM, YOU'LL GUIDE OUR LEADERS TO REACH NEW HEIGHTS, CONTINUOUS GOODWILL IN OUR CITY.

AS WE WORK TOGETHER AND WE WILL ALL PROSPER AND HELP OUR CITY BE MORE PRODUCTIVE.

I PRAY THAT OUR CITY WILL ADVANCE AS WE GO INTO THE NEW FUTURE.

MAY OUR CHILDREN STAY SAFE AND PROTECTED IN OUR SCHOOLS.

AS THEY DEVELOP INTO A STATE OF THE ART SCHOOL, ACHIEVING AND TOP PERFORMING, I PRAY YOUR GODS AND OUR FAMILIES WILL BE HEALTHY.

AND THAT THE NEW LIBRARY WILL BE A STELLAR EXAMPLE OF LITERARY EXCELLENCE FOR NOT JUST CEDAR HILL FOR ALL OF US TO SEE I'M PRAYING FOR OUR MEDICAL FACILITIES AND WITH ALL THIS GOING ON WITH HEALTH ISSUES.

I PRAY, DEAR GOD, THAT FOR NEEDS OF THE ELDERLY WILL BE MET AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO LIVE WORTHWHILE LIVES IN THE MIDST OF ALL THE TRAUMA, THE DRAMA OF THE WAR.

I PRAY THAT OUR SHITTY WILL BE PEACEFUL AND GOODWILL AND LEAD OTHERS TO WORK IN THAT SAME DIRECTION.

AS WE REMAIN UNIFIED, AS YOU CONTINUE TO LET US WORK TOGETHER PROSPER, WE KNOW THAT WITH YOU, GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

PRESENTED PROCLAMATION DESIGNATING MARCH 8TH, 2022 AS COUNTY STATE IN CEDAR HILL.

THIS TO BE PRESENTED BY COUNCILMEMBER HAYDEN.

WELL, I'LL TELL YOU THIS AN HONOR AND A PRIVILEGE TO BE ABLE TO HONOR THIS DAY.

AND ON BEHALF OF YOU, YOU KNOW, I'VE KNOWN THIS GENTLEMAN FOR 16 YEARS AND HE'S ALWAYS BEEN OUT THERE READY TO HELP SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING, DO SOME GOOD FOR SOMEBODY BUILDING.

IT'S NOT A THING THAT HE CAN'T BUILD.

AND HE BUILT MY BAR OUT OF THE LAKE.

YOU KNOW, I REMEMBER WHEN WE FIRST CAME IN AND STARTED BUILDING THIS, UH, THIS, THIS GOVERNMENT CENTER AND IT JUST LIKE THE STEEL AND CAL WANTED TO COME SEE IT.

SO WE CAME AND WENT THROUGH THIS STUFF AND HE WAS NOTICING ALL HOW THE CONSTRUCTION WAS AND ALL THIS.

SO HE'S REALLY METICULOUS WHEN IT COMES TO BUILDING AND HELPING PEOPLE.

SO IT DOESN'T SURPRISE ME WITH ALL THE THINGS THAT, THAT WE GET TO HONOR HIM FOR TONIGHT.

UM, IN FACT, THAT'S GOING TO BE THE SECONDARY ONE, REALLY, BUT IF WE WERE GOING UP THERE, IF YOU SEE, SO NOW CALLOUS MY HONOR TO GO AHEAD AND SAY WE'RE AS KAMEEZ HAS BEEN A RESIDENT OF CEDAR HILL SINCE 1996.

AND WHEREAS CAL HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN THE CITY, UH, CEDAR HILL COMMUNITY WITH CLEANUP PROJECTS AND NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS TO HELP DISABLED VETERANS AND REBUILD AND REHABILITATE THEIR HOMES AND FENCES.

AND WHEREAS CAL HAS RECOGNIZED BY HIS NEIGHBORS BY HIS NEIGHBORHOOD PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT DISTRICT FOR THE YARD OF THE MONTH, ALSO RECOGNIZED BY THE CITY OF CEDAR HILL WITH A GOOD SAMARITAN WARD.

WHEREAS CAL IS AN ARMY VETERAN AND AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE DALLAS WARRIOR'S DISABLED VETERANS HOCKEY TEAM AND THE FORT WORTH PATRIOTS HOCKEY TEAM.

AND WE'RE AS COW ORGANIZES A YEARLY 24 HOUR TOURNAMENT AT ICE, UH, AT ICE AT THE PARKS AT THE PARKS MALL IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF DISABLED VETERANS HOCKEY.

AND WHEREAS HE, IN ADDITION TO THESE COMPLEMENTS AND HONORS OF COWS CROWNING ACHIEVEMENTS IN THAT HE WAS AWARDED FOR ICE HOCKEY WORLD RECORDS IN 2021.

AND I WANT TO GIVE HIM AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THAT THAT'S NOT AN EASY GOAL TO ACCOMPLISH, AND I'LL TELL YOU, BUT MOST CONSECUTIVE ICE HOCKEY GAMES PLAYED BY AN INDIVIDUAL.

MOST ICE HOCKEY GAMES PLAYED BY AN INDIVIDUAL IN ONE YEAR.

MOST ICE HOCKEY TEAMS PLAYED ON BY AN INDIVIDUAL IN ONE YEAR AND MOST ICE HOCKEY LEAGUES PLAYED ON BY AN INDIVIDUAL IN ONE YEAR.

AND I WAS WONDERING, YOU KNOW, IN ALL THOSE TIMES WE WOULD DO SOME OF THE STUFF.

HE WAS ALWAYS OUT PLAYING ICE HOCKEY.

I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU LOVED ICE HOCKEY.

SO NOW THEREFORE STEVE MASON, THE MAYOR OF THE CITY CITY, CITY OF CEDAR HILL, TEXAS DOES OUT HERE PROCLAIM MARCH 8TH, 2022 AS CAL MOMMY'S DAY IN THE CITY OF CEDAR HILL.

I JOINED WITH HIS MANY TEAMMATES AND FELLOW CITY, UH, CEDAR HILL RESIDENTS IN CONGRATULATING CAO ON HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS DURING HIS AMATEUR HOCKEY CAREER IN THE WITNESS OF THEIR, OF I HAVE HERE TO SET MY HAND AND IT CAUSED THE SEAL OF THE CITY OF CEDAR HILL, TEXAS TO BE A FIXED THIS EIGHTH DAY OF MARCH, 2020 TO 22 SIGNED BY OUR MAYOR.

HE'S THE MOST ACTIVE PERSON I'VE EVER SEEN, BUT CAL I WOULD LIKE TO YOU, WELL, I'M GOING TO GO AHEAD AND SAY THIS ONE TO HIS NEXT FEET IS THAT, UH, HE'S GOING TO BECOME, HE'S ALREADY SET TO GO.

HE'S GOT ALL OF THE, ALL OF HIS, UH, YOU KNOW, DUCKS IN THE ROW.

THIS NAME THE MONTH OF MARCH, 2022 AS WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH AND CEDAR HILL.

THIS WILL BE PRESENTED BY OUR VERY OWN COUNCILWOMAN DANIELS.

CAN I HAVE ALL THE LATEST TO STAND WITHOUT US? THERE WOULD BE NO MEN COME ON LADY PROCLAMATION, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR.

WHEREAS EACH YEAR WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH OFFERS AN IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO SHINE A LIGHT ON THE EXTRA ORDINARY LEGACY OF TRAILBLAZING AMERICAN WOMEN AND GIRLS WHO HAVE BUILT, SHAPED AND IMPROVED UPON OUR NATION.

AND WE'RE ASKED THROUGHOUT AMERICAN HISTORY, WOMEN AND GIRLS HAVE MADE BOWEL CONTRIBUTIONS OFTEN IN THE FACE OF DISCRIMINATION AND UNDUE HARDSHIP, COURAGEOUS WOMEN, MARCH BAR, AND WON THE RIGHT TO VOTE CAMPAIGN AGAINST INJUSTICE, SHATTERED, COUNTLESS BARRIERS, AND EXPANDED THE POSSIBILITY OF AMERICAN LIFE AND GRADS.

OUR HISTORY IS ALSO REPLACED WITH EXAMPLES OF THE UNFAILING, BRAVERY AND GRIT OF WOMEN IN AMERICA, PARTICULARLY IN TIME OF CRISIS AND EMERGENCY WOMEN SERVED OUR NATION DURING WORLD WAR TWO, LED ARGUMENTS, ORGANIZING AND LITIGATION EFFORTS DURING THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT AND REPRESENTED THE UNITED STATES ON GLOBAL STAGE IN THE FIGHT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, PEACE AND SECURITY.

AND WHEREAS IN OUR CURRENT MOMENT OF CRISIS, WOMEN CONTINUE TO LEAD FROM BACK, SEEN RESEARCHERS TO PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS, TO THE COUNTLESS HEROES ON THE FRONT LINES.

WOMEN ARE WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK TO DEFEAT COVID 19 AND RAM TO 222 NATIONAL THEME FOR WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH IS PROVIDING HEALING, PROMOTING HOPE.

IT TRIBUTE TO THE CEASELESS WORK OF CAREGIVERS AND FRONTLINE WORKERS DURING THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC AND THROUGHOUT HISTORY AND GRADS, WOMEN HAVE LONG ADVOCATED FOR COMPASSIONATE TREATMENT AND NEW DIRECTION IN PUBLIC HEALTH.

AND WOMEN'S MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH.

THIS YEAR IN PARTICULAR, WE ARE REMINDED OF THE IMPORTANCE OF HEALERS AND CAREGIVERS WHO HELP PROMOTE AND SUSTAIN HOPE FOR THE FUTURE AND RAV DURING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH.

LET US HONOR THE ACCOMPLISHED AND VISIONARY WOMEN WHO HAVE HELPED BILL OUR COUNTRY, INCLUDING THOSE WHO, WHOSE CONTRIBUTION HAVE NOT BEEN ADEQUATELY RECOGNIZED AND CELEBRATED, AND LET US PAY TRIBUTE TO THE TRAILBLAZERS FROM THE RECENT AND DISTINCT PATHS FOR DOING A BARRON TO ENVISION A FUTURE, WHICH NO PAST, UH, PREDECESSOR DEBT, UH, EXISTED AND FOR BILL AND A NATION OF ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES FOR ALL OF ITS WOMEN AND GIRLS.

I, I KNOW THAT CEDAR HILL DESERVES THE BEST AND IT'S MY HONOR TO SERVE THE CITY AND CONTINUE WORKING TO FIND, UH, OPPORTUNITIES.

AND WE'RE, WE ARE THE, IN BOTH IN BOTH MEN OF A PREMIER CITY AND I TAKE THAT TO HEART AND IT'S MY HONOR TO SERVE AND MAKE SURE THAT WE CONTINUE THAT STATUS AND THAT GOOD THINGS COME TO US.
