5.   Citizens Forum/Public Comments.  Citizens wishing to speak during this time should submit a Speaker Request Form to the City Secretary before the meeting begins.  Public comments may also be submitted online at: cedarhilltx.com/publiccomment.  All public comments submitted online by 4pm on City Council meeting dates will be distributed to the City Council and entered into record. 
 
6.   Public Hearing.
 
a.   Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of Ordinance No. 2021-740 which amends Chapter 23 entitled “Zoning”, Article 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Cedar Hill, Texas; providing amended regulations pertaining to variances considered by the Zoning Board of Adjustments. Consider authorizing the purchase of vehicles and equipment provided for and appropriated in the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget.

g.   Case No. FP-391-2021 – Approve, in accordance with the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation, an application for a final plat for the Watkins Addition, Lot 1, Block 1, and a variance to Section 20-22(b), Chapter 20 – Subdivision Regulations on property zoned “RR” District (Rural Residential with a minimum lot size of 2 acres) located on the west side of South Joe Wilson Road, south of East Little Creek Road with the approximate address being 1167 South Joe Wilson Road.

a.   Closed Session called pursuant to Section §551.071 of the Texas Government Code - Consultation with City Attorney
 
Consultation with the city attorney regarding the acquisition of property located at Uptown Blvd. and Pioneer Trail in which the attorney’s duty of confidentiality under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
 
b.   Reconvene in Open Session and consider any action(s) needed as a result of the Closed Session.
